Dorian Now Category 1 Hurricane

Hurricane Season Sign With Stormy Background

Tropical Storm Dorian is now a Category 1 hurricane with maximum sustained winds at 75 miles-per-hour. The National Hurricane Center's latest advisory has the storm located near St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands and moving to the northwest at 13 miles-per-hour. Hurricane watches and warnings along with a Tropical Storm warning are up in portions of the U.S. and British Virgin Islands along with Puerto Rico. Dorian is forecast to continue strengthening over the next few days over the Atlantic Ocean. It's possible Dorian can strengthen into strong hurricane as it approaches the Florida coast.
