Two dozen families displaced in Texas apartment fire

A huge apartment fire has left two dozen families looking for a place to live after a blaze broke out early this morning at the Haverstock Hill Apartments on Aldine Bender Road in the Harris County.

Firefighters said the blaze damaged 24 units of the complex. All of the residents were accounted for. There were no injuries, but it took firefighters more than an hour to bring the fire under control. The Red Cross has been brought in to assist the victims who were displaced.
