Shoppers ran in panic after a man wearing a mask threatened suicide inside the Memorial City Mall in Houston.

Police say the man entered the food court, jumped on a table and then started yelling he was going to kill himself. As he did, he dropped something on the floor. Police later determined it was not an explosive.

A teenage boy and his mother were injured as shoppers fled the area. No one else was hurt.
