Editor: Hatred Was Not From El Paso

The editor of the El Paso Times says today is both a tragic day and a good day to visit the Texas city. In an open letter to President Trump today, Tim Archuleta writes that the border town is in the agony of mourning the 22 victims of Saturday's mass shooting. He writes that the violence didn't come from El Paso, it was from an outsider who came to target a town where 80 percent share Hispanic roots. Archuleta tells Trump that when he visits today, he will see a city that makes its residents proud, one full of people who came together amid tragedy, doing what they could to help their neighbors.
