Ramon Laureano doubled in the go-ahead run in the 11th inning as the A's folded the Astros 4-3 in Houston. Matt Olson launched a three-run homer in the top of the ninth to give Oakland a 3-2 lead, but Aledmys Diaz tied it with a sac-fly in the bottom half. Yusmeiro Petit earned the win as the A's snapped a two-game skid. Collin McHugh surrendered the go-ahead run in the 11th and took the loss. Yuli Gurriel hit an inside-the-park homer for Houston in defeat.
