The Astros were in the spirit of celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing. Monday night was Apollo 11 Night at Minute Maid Park, and the place was sold out. Rick Armstrong, son of Neil Armstrong, the first man to set foot on the moon, threw out the first pitch. Special-edition Apollo 11 Astros hats sold well, and Orbit Apollo 11 bobble-heads completely sold out. The Astros got permission from the league to wear the Apollo 11 patch.
