Democratic presidential candidate Julian Castro's campaign is claiming he raised nearly $3 million in the second quarter of this year. More than a million of those dollars came in after the first Democratic presidential debate on June 26th, in which Castro did well. According to Federal Election Commission records, the former San Antonio mayor and Obama cabinet member now has just over a million-dollars in cash on hand. Castro's fundraising results were still dwarfed by those of several other Democratic hopefuls.
