The University of Texas in Austin is going to start covering all tuition and fees for students of families who make less than 65-thousand dollars a year. Regents voted in favor of the plan today which creates a 160-million-dollar endowment for the tuition costs. The fund will also provide tuition support for students of families which make up to 125-thousand a year. Over 14-thousand students will benefit in some part from the plan which goes into effect in Fall 2020.
