Maleah Davis Memorialized With Bronze Statue

Maleah Davis is being honored with a memorial statue. Sculptor Shirley Scarpetta is making a bronze likeness of the late four-year-old, who was found dead in Arkansas a month after she went missing from her family's Houston apartment on April 30th. On Thursday, Scarpetta she got the word that a private donor had paid for the piece, so she got busy and finished it in just one day. The statue still needs to be cast in bronze, which takes about a month. She says she hopes to display the sculpture in a public place in Houston.
