A tractor-trailer rig ran off a bridge into the San Jacinto River in Harris County today. Divers have been searching for the driver of the truck that ran off the East Freeway. The incident closed some lanes of traffic there and Harris County officials say they're having difficulties getting the truck out of the water. As a result, the wreckage is expected to remain there until Friday, when a vendor can be brought in to assist. Sheriff Ed Gonzalez tweeted, "Update on East Fwy crash. It does not appear the truck can safely be moved today. The submerged truck will remain in place overnight and a private vendor will join in the effort tomorrow. Texas Department of Transportation officials were also brought in to insure the bridge is safe for motorists.
