A lightning strike is being blamed for a communications breakdown at Dallas Love Field and DFW International Airport on Sunday evening. Flights out of both airports were suspended for the duration of the problem, which started shortly after 7:30 p.m. The Federal Aviation Administration says communications were completely restored by just before 10 p.m. Several flights were diverted to other airports, partly because of the storms that were in North Texas.
