The first incident happened about 10:30, as an nine year old girl was sitting on the front porch of her family's home in the 1300 block of Allende, which is on the west side near General McMullen.

Police say a dark colored car pulled up in front of the house, and somebody inside fired several shots at the home. The little girl was rushed to the hosptial in stable condition with at least two bullet wounds. Police are trying to figure out what was behind the outrage.

About 3AM, two boys, aged 12 and 15, were dropped off at a house in the 9800 block of Heritage Farm, which is in the Heritage subdivision on the far west side, outside Loop 410.

Each of the boys had been shot at least once in the legs. They were rushed to University Hosptial in stable condition. Police still don't know where the boys were shot, let alone who did it, and why.
