FBI Reportedly Tipped About Federal Building Shooter In 2016

Gunman Dead After Shooting At Federal Courthouse In Dallas

The FBI was reportedly tipped off three years ago about the man who opened fire in downtown Dallas earlier this week. Security officers fatally shot 22-year-old Brian Clyde on Monday after he allegedly fired a gun outside the federal building. An anonymous federal investigator says one of Clyde's relatives called a national tip line in 2016 to say Clyde was both suicidal and fascinated with guns. Clyde was in the army at the time. He wasn't investigated because the caller didn't describe a specific threat.
