Reds Rally Past Astros In Ninth, Sweep Series

Nick Senzel and Jesse Winker singled in runs in the ninth inning as the Reds rallied to beat the Astros 3-2 and sweep the three-game series in Cincinnati. Yasiel Puig hit a solo home run in the second inning for the Reds, who have won four straight overall. Matt Bowman was credited with the victory. Michael Brantley went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer in the sixth for Houston, which has dropped four in-a-row for the first time since last August. Roberto Osuna suffered his first loss. Jose Altuve was 0-for-4 in his return from a 35-game absence due to a hamstring strain.
