Harlandale ISD Rejects Conclusions Of State Investigation

Education

The Harlandale ISD board is planning its next move after an unfavorable recommendation by the Texas Education Agency. Based on the findings of an investigation that started in August 2017, the agency says the entire school board should be replaced and a conservator should be appointed. At an executive session on Thursday night, the board called the agency's report unfair. They said the report refers to long-ago incidents involving former board members who have been gone for years. Another board meeting is scheduled for Monday.
