A new health clinic is now open to serve the South Side ISD. The district dedicated the Susan Hall Community Health Clinic on Tuesday. The clinic on Martinez Losoya Road will serve the district's six-thousand students and school personnel. School-based clinics reportedly boost school attendance and cut down on emergency room visits. Next month the clinic will join forces with the University of the Incarnate Word to administer vaccinations and flu shots.
