Texas Governor signs bill legalizing lemonade stands

Texas Governor Greg Abbott has signed a bill making it legal for kids to operate lemonade stands. Abbott says it is only common sense that children should be able to operate such stands. The bill prohibits cities and neighborhood associations from enacting rules that block or regulate minors trying to sell nonalcoholic beverages on private property. The governor Tweeted a video of him signing the bill and raising a glass of lemonade after he signed it.
