Dwight Smith Junior homered and drove in six Orioles' runs in a 12-11 win over the Rangers at Texas. Pedro Severino blasted a career-high three home runs in the win. Keon Broxton also homered and Hanser Alberto contributed four hits as Baltimore earned its second win in six games. The Rangers scored six runs in the ninth highlighted by Asdrubal Cabrera and Logan Forsythe two-run doubles. Starter Drew Smyly retired only 10 of the 19 batters he faced and seven scored. Texas had its three-game winning streak halted.
