Dallas Murder-For-Hire Trial Continues

The capital murder trial continues today for a woman accused of paying a hired killer to shoot her ex's new girlfriend. Opening statements started Monday morning in the trial of 36-year-old Brenda Delgado, who's charged with arranging the murder of 35-year-old Dr. Kendra Hatcher. The victim was a Dallas dentist who was shot in the head in the parking garage of her Uptown apartment building in 2015. Delgado faces life in prison if she's convicted. The hit man is on death row, and the getaway driver pleaded guilty in exchange for her testimony.
