The Rangers finished off a three-game sweep of the Mariners with a 2-1 win in Arlington. Nomar Mazara doubled in a run in the first inning and Hunter Pence popped a solo homer in the sixth for the Rangers, who have won four straight and seven of their last eight overall. Adrian Sampson picked up the win in relief and Shawn Kelley closed it out for his fourth save. J.P. Crawford singled in the lone run in the seventh inning for Seattle, which has lost six-of-seven. Marco Gonzalez allowed two runs, one earned, over seven frames as he fell to 5-and-4 after starting the season 5-and-0.
