4-year-old Maleah Davis has been missing for three weeks and police are not giving up finding her.
Houston Police Chief Art Acevedo says he believes the girl was murdered and believe the girl's stepfather knows where she is.
Acevedo said Derion Vence has told them "a tall tale" and the evidence does not back it up. Vence remains jailed after being charged with tampering with evidence, specifically a human corpse, in connection with the case. Acevedo says "the evidence shows she has been murdered."
"Maleah deserves to be found, be recovered and deserves a proper burial, and we need the community's help," he said.
