American Airlines Expands Operations At DFW

Boeing 737 MAX 8 Planes Face Renewed Scrutiny After Second Crash In 5 Months

American Airlines is expanding its operations at DFW Airport in a big way. This summer, the Fort Worth-based airline will add 100 departures a day from DFW, which is its biggest hub. The new flights include increased service to existing destinations as well as routes to new ones. Smaller domestic markets, such as Del Rio and Harlingen, are among the new destinations, along with new international routes, such as Dublin, Munich, and Santo Domingo. American has opened 15 new gates in Terminal E to accommodate the expansion.
