Hundreds of TSA staffers, including air marshals, will be going to the southern border to help deal with rising tide of migrants. The deployment to the border comes as the summer travel season is beginning to ramp up. TSA officials acknowledge in an internal email that redirecting staff to the border will create "some risk" of fewer resources to handle airport security. TSA officials say the redeployment won't involve uniformed airport screeners, at least at first.
