The search for missing 4-year-old Maleah Davis is now focused on an area near the Creepy Hollow Haunted House in Rosharon in Brazoria County.
Texas EquuSearch teams were seen combing an area off State Highway 288, saying they were investigating a tip.
The girl has been missing for more than a week.
Meanwhile, the girl's stepfather, Derion Vence remains jailed. The 26-year-old is being held on claims of tampering with evidence. Vence originally claimed Davis was kidnapped by three Hispanic men who attacked him but Sugar Land police later said his story was inconsistent. A representative for the child's mother says there is video of Vence leaving his apartment with cleaning supplies.
