The South Korean military says North Korea fired several short-range "projectiles" off its east coast this morning. Military officials initially called it a missile launch but are now giving a more vague description until they identify the missiles. White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said, "We are aware of North Korea's actions," and "will continue to monitor as necessary." President Trump has reportedly been briefed on the launch. It would be North Korea's first missile launch since November 2017.
