Flooding is causing problems across parts of Texas today. At Dallas Love Field, dozens of cars were submerged in Garages A & B.
A mobile home park in Lewisville was evacuated. Rafts were used to get residents to safety. Lightning may also be to blame for several fires in the metroplex, including an apartment fire in Plano.
In Fort Worth, a train derailment left some Union Pacific railroad tankers overturned. The tankers contained ethanol and burst into flames. No injuries were reported, but the Fort Worth Fire Department's mobile command post caught fire. The truck that was loaded with radios, computers and other equipment needed at large scenes was destroyed.
