Chick-fil-A remains banned from the airport

In a narrow 6-5 vote, San Antonio's City Council has decided against a second vote on an airport restaurant contract that does not include Chick-fil-A, Newsradio 1200 WOAI.

An earlier vote removed the chicken chain over concerns by some on council over their past donations to charitable causes that support traditional marriage. That led to a massive debate over religious liberty.

Councilman Greg Brockhouse pushed for a re-do on that vote, but failed to get the needed votes. That keeps the current plan in place.
