Matt Chapman launched the go-ahead, solo home run in the sixth inning as the Athletics edged the Astros 2-1 in Oakland. The A's cooled off Houston, ending the Astros' 10-game winning streak. Jurickson Profar doubled in a run in the second for Oakland. Frankie Montas gave up three hits and one run over six-and-a-third for the win. Wade Miley gave up both runs in six frames to take the tough-luck loss for Houston. Michael Brantley singled in the lone run for the 'Stros, who fell to 12-and-6.
