Macron: Notre Dame Rebuilt In 5 Years

French President Emmanuel Macron says Notre Dame Cathedral will be rebuilt within five years. In a television address, Macron spoke to the nation in the aftermath of the devastating fire at the historic cathedral. He says the French will reflect and then act, but the people must come together. The blaze caused the roof of the Cathedral and old spire to collapse. France's culture minister says while the main structure has been saved, the 850-year-old building is still unstable. Crews were able to save a number of religious and art artifacts and Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo said they had a plan to get those artifacts into safe place.

Thousands of Parisians took part in tonight's prayer vigil for Notre Dame Cathedral. The vigil was held at the nearby Church of Saint Sulpice. Candles were being lit and a band performed as the people of Paris mourn the devastation caused by the fire at city's iconic cathedral.
