The Los Angeles Lakers are parting ways with head coach Luke Walton. It comes after a rough season that ended with the team missing the playoffs. Lakers General Manager Rob Pelinka announced it was a mutual decision to take the team in another direction. Over the last three seasons under Walton. the team's overall record was 98-148 Earlier in the Week, Magic Johnson announced he was stepping down from his role as the team president.
