Chloe Jackson nailed the go-ahead lay-up with six seconds left as Baylor edged Notre Dame 82-81 to win the NCAA Women's Basketball Championship. Arike Ogunbowale missed a tying free throw in the final seconds for the defending champion Fighting Irish to seal the loss. Jackson led the Lady Bears with 26 points and Kalani Brown added 20 points and 13 rebounds. It's the third national title in program history as Baylor finishes the year at 37-and-1. Ogunbowale led Notre Dame with 31 points in defeat. The Irish fell short of repeating as champions after winning it all last season.
