He is at 15-under and leads Corey Conners by one stroke. Charley Hoffman, who won the 2016 Valero Texas Open is 2 shots back at 13-under.
With a win Sunday, Si Woo Kim would become the first player from South Korea to win the Valero Texas Open and first international winner of the event since 2014, when Steven Bowditch won.
If Conners were to win, he would become the first Monday Qualifier to win on the PGA TOUR since Arjun Atwal in the 2010 Wyndham Championship.
Hoffman Is making his 14th consecutive start in the Valero Texas Open and in search of his fifth career PGA TOUR win and first since the 2016 Valero Texas Open.
