Kelvin Sampson will likely retire as the Houston head basketball coach. The university signed the 63-year-old to a six-year contract extension for a guaranteed 18-million dollars, plus incentives. The Cougars went 33-and-4 this past season, captured the American Athletic Conference regular season title and advanced to the Sweet 16. He has a 116-and-52 record with Houston.
