The third time turned out to be the charm for Texas. The Longhorns beat TCU 58-44 in a NIT Final Four game at Madison Square Garden. Texas had lost twice to the Horned Frogs in Big 12 play. Kerwin Roach the Second led the Longhorns with 23 points. Alex Robinson paced the TCU attack with a dozen points. Texas advances with a 20-and-16 record to play Lipscomb in the title game on Thursday. The Frogs end the season with a 23-and-14 record.
