Left-hander Mike Minor will likely be the Rangers opening day starter on March 28th against the Cubs. Texas pitchers and catchers went through their first spring training workout in Surprise, Arizona. Rookie manager Chris Woodward said he would "love" for Minor to start the season opener. Minor went 12-and-8 with a 4.18 ERA in 28 starts last season, his first with the Rangers. He missed all of the 2015-and-16 seasons with injuries.
