A man is hospitalized after being shot in a brutal robbery overnight at an upscale apartment on the city's northwest side, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say two armed and masked men approached the victim outside the apartments in the 6400 block of Wurzbach, just off Evers.
They demanded the man's valuables, and when he didn't move quickly enough they pistol whipped, and shot him.
The robbers got away with jewelry, including a Rolex watch.
The victim, in his 20's, was rushed to the hospital with a gunshot wound, and lacerations to his head.
The suspects got away and remain at large.
