It was an early morning wake-up call today for residents of a north side apartment building, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Several people and a dog had to be evacuated from their beds at the Coronado Apartments on Lorene St, which is near San Pedro and Ramsey, about 3AM when a fire broke out in a stairwell.
Firefighters converged on the scene and managed to contain the fire.It looks suspicious, and arson investigators are on the scene.
