Police are Trying to Sort Out a Shooting at an East Side 7-11 Store

Police are trying to figure out what led to a shooting at an east side convenience store early today that left one man in critical condition with a gunshot wound to the head, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.

Police say three people were in the 7-11 at Rigsby and Loop 410 when shooting began, according to one officer on the scene, from 'several places.'

Police don't know if it was part of a robbery attempt, or some other disagreement between men in the store.

One person was seen running away from the store, one man was shot, and the clerk is being questioned by police.

Detectives don't know if other people may have been in the store at the time as well. They are currently reviewing surveillance video.

This is the second shooting at a San Antonio 7-11 store this week.

A clerk was shot to death during a bungled robbery at the 7-11 at Callaghan and I-10 early Tuesday.
