A man was killed overnight when he was thrown out of a moving car on Loop 410 and was run over by at least three vehicles, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say the victim was in the back seat of an SUV that went out of control near the Marbach Rd. exit on the city's west side. The vehicle slammed into a concrete median.
The passenger, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown out of the vehicle and onto the highway, where the drivers of the three vehicles were unable to stop in time.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
None of the three drivers will face charges, but officials are investigating whether alcohol may have been a factor in the wreck.
