A 30 year old woman has died following an incident in her southeast side home on Christmas Eve, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police were called to the home on Monticello Court, which is off Hot Wells, for a report of a woman not breathing.
Officials at Mission Trails Hospital called police for an assault report, but by the time officers arrived, the woman had died.
Police located the suspect at the home and the person was taken into custody without incident.
Police had called the death a case of 'homicide by strangulation, but late Wednesday detectives said they are re-examining that finding.
