A sign reading 'FAKE NEWS' was planted today in the front yard of the Holocaust Memorial Museum on the grounds of the Jewish Community Center on Northwest Military Highway, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
The sign included an arrow pointing to the museum, and the initials 'MAGA,' which is frequently used by Trump supporters, representing his 2016 campaign slogan, Make America Great Again.
A spokeswoman for the JCC says there was no damage or graffiti on the building or the property, so the sign was simply removed. She says there is strong security around the building, so officials will view the surveillance video.T
The local Muslim Education and Civic Center was among those condemning the sign.
