Texas Judge Rules Against Obamacare Ahead Of Sign Up Deadline

A U.S. District Court judge in Texas is agreeing with Republican state attorney generals that Obamacare is  unconstitutional.  A coalition of 20 states argued they were harmed by  the increase in the number of people on state-supported insurance  rolls.  U.S. District Court Judge Reed O'Connor in Fort Worth agreed with them that when Congress repealed the  individual mandate, it made the law unconstitutional.  The decision is  likely to be appealed all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court. Democratic  officials in 15 states are defending the law after the Trump  Administration sided with the Republican states.
