Texas Congressman Beto O'Rourke came in third in the first Iowa Poll as Iowa Democrats look ahead to the next presidential election.
Most candidates are still deciding if they will run or not, but the 2020 presidential election is already underway.
In the first Iowa Poll for that election is out tonight and shows former Vice President Joe Biden as the top choice for Democrats with 32% support. Next is Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders at 19% and Texas Congressman Beto O'Rourke at 11%. That order mirrors a CNN poll released Friday. Next were Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren and California Senator Kamala Harris rounding out the top five.
Up to three dozen Democrats are considering a run for their party's nomination. Iowa is traditionally the first state that gets to weigh in on presidential votes.
