Timberwolves slam Spurs 128-89

Robert Covington led seven players in double-figures with 21 points as the Timberwolves smashed the Spurs 128-89 in Minneapolis.  Karl-Anthony Towns posted 16 points and 11  rebounds for the Wolves, who made 18 three-pointers and led by as much  as 48 points in the second half.  Minnesota has won four straight to  even its record at 11-and-11.  Jakob Poeltl had  14 points and eight rebounds off the bench to pace San Antonio, which  has lost four-of-six.  LaMarcus Aldridge and DeMar DeRozan scored just  10 points apiece in defeat.
