Two people were stabbed, one critically, when an argument among roommates at a north east side apartment spun out of control overnight, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police called to the apartment in the apartment at Starcrest and North East Loop 410 found a woman sprawled on the floor bleeding profusely from a stab wound in the neck. She was rushed to the hospital where she was on life support.
A man was found suffering from a less serious stab wound.
Police were told that two women who live in the apartment got into an argument and one stabbed the other in the throat. A man who is a friend of one of the women managed to disarm her, but he too was stabbed during the altercation.
The woman who police say did the stabbing was charged with aggravated assault.
