New Braunfels Police Seek Man Who Killed Woman While Trying to Escape

New Braunfels Police are looking for a man who was trying to flee from police while driving a stolen truck, when he slammed into a car, killing the woman who was driving, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.

Police say it all started when they got a call from a San Antonio company that one of their trucks had been stolen.  Police spotted the truck at an apartment complex, but the thief sped away

.Near the intersection of County Line Rd. and Dove Crossing, the thief slammed into the woman's car., killing her instantly.  He then jumped out of the mangled wreckage of the stolen truck and ran into Fischer Park, where he stole another vehicle from a woman at knifepoint.

The suspect remains at large. 

The vehicle that was stolen that the man is believed to be driving is a silver 2012 Kia Forte with sticker reading 'On the Grind' in the back window.  

Anybody spotting this vehicle is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately. The suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
