Gov. Abbott today marked Mondays first anniversary of the Sutherland Springs church shooting by attending a memorial service at the First Baptist Church, where a gunman opened fire during church services on November 5, 2017, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
The Governor praised the courage of the survivors and the community
He praised the parishioners for turning to God in their time of crisis, and stressed ,that their story is one if hope, and proof that good triumphs over evil.
