Police say the officers were parked, one in front of the other, on the shoulder of Wurzbach Parkway near Nacogdoches Rd.  Their emergency lights were flashing.

A woman driving at a high rate of speed came over the hill on Wurzbach Parkway and slammed into the back car, which was then shoved into the front car.

The officer in the back car suffered neck injuries, while the other officer was treated for leg and torso injuries.

The woman was taken to the hospital suffering from multiple injuries.

Police say the woman was also driving without a valid license or insurance, so she will face some additional pain as well.
