LeBron James missed a fadeaway jumper at the buzzer as the Spurs slipped past the Lakers 143-142 in overtime in LA. Patty Mills connected for a go-ahead jump shot with seven seconds remaining for San Antonio, which scored seven consecutive points to end it. LaMarcus Aldridge netted 37 points and DeMar DeRozan scored 32 as the Spurs improved to 2-and-1. James sent the game to OT with a three-pointer with 3.3 seconds left in regulation. He ended with 32 points, 14 assists and eight rebounds for the Lakers, who dropped to 0-and-3. Kyle Kuzma led LA with 37 points in the setback.
