Police today arrested a 19 year old man, Isaiah Cerna, in connection with the kidnapping and beating of a 21 year old man, which was captured on video and posted on social media, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
After the video was reported to police, officers got varying reports on where it was taken, and they finally settled on a home on Whitman Ave, which is on the southwest side.
When police entered the home, they found Cerna and found the 21 year old victim.
Detectives say the victim had been kidnapped on Sunday, taken to the house, and held there against his will all night, and was subjected to repeated beatings.
The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Cerna is expected to be charged with aggravated kidnapping.Police didn't say what prompted the incident.
